In my first year in the Spanish program, I've learned to efficiently use Spanish, whether that is conjugating words and actions to fit their subject, learning the orders of operations when it comes to formulating sentences, and most notably understanding what is being said. Over the years, I've grown from knowing minimal Spanish vocabulary into writing stories using a large variety of words, while using them correctly of course. Something I'm proud of was that since I traveled to Mexico, the skills I've learned in this class were applied to a real world setting and it is life saving to communicate and understand what others were saying. Areas I would like to keep growing in is my vocabulary, I feel expanding it would extremely help my arsenal of sentences to make myself more clear. I will be taking Spanish 2, however what I would like to learn is past, and future tenses as I feel like that will be very relevant when it comes to speaking Spanish.
